Feed Description: Bits from the world of the Python programming language.
A friend passed along The Quine Page to me the other day. The obligatory "Ctrl+F", "Python" gained a hit. Set it aside to blog about later. I decided not to blog about it after seeing the novelty topic has been well covered.
What I uncovered was a David Mertz article from July 2000 on Python and DOM, including converting XML objects into Python objects. I discovered Python via OReillyNet.com, and was coiled through the friendly c.l.py and intelligent DeveloperWorks articles. Seeing the articles from before my intrigue into what I first thought was a novelty language reminded me again that Python has long past the novelty phase in it's life-cycle.
