Some dead trees from Amazon
Originally uploaded by xamdam.
I had a little book-ordering explosion before the weekend, and they all came in the mail at once. In 137 different boxes. Can I have a side of One-Click clubbed baby seals with that, Amazon?
BTW, these books are very promising based on my extensive research. Click to feed my addiction ;)
- Webmaster in a Nutshell, self explainatory, good reviews
- The Big Picture - a history of the moving image business. Looked great from the 1st chapter.
- Purple Cow - much hyped book on "making great products". Will have to see about that one.
- Digital Information Graphics - really cool ways to show data on a computer. Worth it (used) just for the pictures, should at least make a nice coffe table book.
- Aha, Practical Common Lisp + (Amazon sais I have to buy it with) Successful Lisp. Feed my inner masochistic functional child.
