As Lispish functional constructs in Python are being reduced() to None by BDFL I want to just put in my 2c - save the lambda! A hell of a lot good python code uses it, and I cannot bear the thought of writing that extra line. Or just allow anonymous def(), which is even better. (I am talking purely as a user, unaware of any implementation issues involved). Save the lambda - pass it on!
