As you know, recently I started slowly exploring introducing wiki into my development workflow in oducmenting the behind the scenes developmental process. But, MediaWiki or even one of the other FOSS wiki software projects allows you to do so much more in your work process.

Certainly, the bane of programmers everywhere is technical articles, manuals, and etc. By using a very small subset of wiki formating I can visually outline a technical article and fill it in according to all the standard knowledge area styles for technical article discourse in a very easy fashion.
