Looks like I'm going to be hanging out at the Thirsty Bear June 27-30. Last week I blogged about having a presentation accepted for OSCon. Looks like I'm two for two this year in regards to conference invites. I also had the presentation for JavaOne 2005 in San Francisco. Last year I presented Persistence Layers in an Enterprise Application: An Evolution from SQL to OJB to Hibernate with my two good friends Amit and Scott G. Yes I do know how to write code that doesn't produce buttons or text fields. That put us right in the middle of the whole JDO/EJB/Hibernate smack down. This year should be an interesting contrast.

ClientJava.com was also launched a few weeks before JavaOne last year. Now here we are over 400 posts (if you count those damn links) later. I can only imagine the bandwidth spike I'll cause Contegix if start posting 100meg movies from the conference like I did last year when no one knew about this site.
