If you have played an EA game you might know who Scott Orr has in that he built Madden Football and etc. Gamers.com has a nice interview with him describing his new work at Sorrent in the Mobile Multiplayer game realm fro both j2ME and BREW.

Although I will not be to the level of 3D high level game development on Sorrent's level until fall of 2004, still some very good insights in this interview. One important insight is first person games work on Mobile due to small screen space.
