One of the challegnes of building this Orca TestDrivenDevelopment Build Framework is keepign the Build Framework resilient enough to developer/user mistakes. Not only does the framework have to load a userName.build.properties and userName.deployment.properties files but also to doublecheck the build_defualt.properties to make sure the defaults have not be edited but only overrriden via the userName.build.proprties file.
Of course still no corporate sponsorship even though I have seen dramatic increase in heavy reading and viewing of my Orca posts by people from Intel, IBM, Nokia, Siemens, Sun, and etc. But, other than to make sure I have enough financial resources to finish this and the extensions to this Build Framework; I did not dothis to get fame and fortune but a more worthwhile goal.
That goal is to put the power of a Test Driven Development Build Framework that integrates testing, code metrics, and etc to handle the increasing complexities of J2ME-MIDP development in the hands of the J2ME developer whether he or she is developing FOSS applications or closed source applications. Thus, this increases the quality of the applicaitons and increases innovations in the Mobile space because it is in fact single developers that are pushing innovation in the mobile space and they should have the power of a whole QA department in the palm of their hands.
