What is CoLinux good for in a developers mind? Well if you happen to develop applicatiosn that have to be tested in emulators that run under windows and Linux with some under Windows and some under Linux than CoLinux seems a perfect fit.

No spending hard earned dollars on VmWare. Works with your current windows2kpro or winxp enabled machine. Its not that Cygwin is not great and in fact CoLinux does use parts of the Cygwin project. Its that you are actually running the full native of your favorite linux distribution.
