Still no word back for the head of Geronimo of what the proejct actually is technically. As you can see from Core Developer Network's own website the missleading statement picked up by media probably came from them as a similar statement is on the front page of the website.

What is interesting is that Core Developrs Network evidently doesn't fully believe in their Geronimo future as they still support JBoss in selling consulting services.
