JBoss Group LLC, provider of the most popular Java-based application server, announced today the appointment of Remy Maucherat to the position of senior developer and Tomcat lead developer. Maucherat previously worked at Sun Microsystems, where he was a major contributor to Tomcat 4.0. JBoss Group will now fund his work on Tomcat 5.0, for which Maucherat is the lead developer.
