I have not written about JXTA in awhile but I did find an interesting approach to JXTA on J2ME from JadLabs. JadLabs is a lighwieght container running JXME and its child project JadLabs-CLDC allows SMS sending through not only the GSM connection but also through other lower expensive connections such as bluetooth.
