In case you were actually doing something productive, you might have not noticed that Apple released the iPod Shuffle and the Mac Mini yesterday. Both of them 'cheap' products, compared to the rest of the Apple stuff. The problem with the iPod Shuffle is that it's not edible, but looks too much like a pack of gum, and I've got a 'big one' already. The problem with the Mac Mini, though, is that putting a gig of RAM and WiFi on that lovely shiny thick pint coaster makes its price raise up to GBP 662.98, or GBP 779.00 with VAT. Or US$ 1,244.74 (1,462.57 with VAT), if you do the conversions. That is just ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. I could afford travelling my own lazy fat Apple-loving tourist-visa-holding ass all the way to New York, getting one at the goddamn Apple Store NYC there and coming back with a shiny f'ing box FOR THAT SAME F'ING PRICE! Grrr!
