I'm getting weird behaviour on one of my applications. It is intermittent, which makes it hard to examine. As far as I can tell, it has to do with removable media.

When my application tries access the local file system to read files...




So far it occurs after the removable media has been accessed by the OS or any other application, and then removed.

Did some research and found the following resources. None of which are very helpful...
