Have you seen Google-Suggest?  A colleague sent me this URL and I was blown away with it.  Slowly type in your search criteria and it will come back with a drop-down list of the number of results that particular keyword (up to that point) will yield in real time without having to submit the search.

It is a very nice touch and something I have never seen used anywhere before with an HTML interface.  DHTML being used to some stunning effectiveness.  Works beautifully on FireFox and IE.
