I recently installed Kodo JDO in order to testdrive it. As with a lot of others JDO vendors, their toolset can be combined with nearly any IDE in the world.... except IntelliJ IDEA! If i would use JEdit to do my daily business, i could understand this fact but i still believe that IDEA has some market impact. I am really wondering what they are doing there (and why IBM joined this spec). To me, its a really unpleasant situation to get no informations about a group in the JCP. No status indicator, no public forum, nothing. But despite of this JCP shortcoming, i would really love to see some improvement in that very group.
