JVDS - Stands for Just Virtual Dedicated Servers. Dunno how good they are, and they're fairly new, but they seem to have a few clues -- accessing some of the PHP pages just returned a 'Forbidden' (nonclue!) and I pinged them with the info. I got an immediate autoresponse from an RT system (clue!), and then a human response a couple minutes later (clue!) and it was immediately fixed (clue!). Plus the response referenced publishing the site with rsync (clue!). I have no idea how well User Mode Linux works, but the fact that you can use Gentoo as a distro is a plus.
