My boss came to me with a question, that at the moment I don't have a good answer for.
He said his friend tried to send him a fax to his Motorola i95cl.
Obviously it did not work, but his question to me was could Java be used to get a fax on a phone and convert it to some image format (eg. TIFF) and have the fax viewable (scrollable in all four directions) on the phone.
I said I am sure it may be possible eventually, but was not sure of the capabilities to do that right now.
Does anyone know if this is possible right now, or what Java APIs there are for handling incoming faxes.
