I would like to mention the strategies in brief:

- Utilize Connection Pooling Techniques
- Be diligent about closing all JDBC objects
- Check Stored Procedure use.
- Utilize generated Key Value Retention Feature.
- Separate JDBC Code from Business Logic.
- Consider query fetch size for large result sets.
- Consider update batching
- Consider RowSet
