I use Eclipse and Google a
lot. Sometimes I find myself copying text from eclipse to google it. To make things
easier and to kill some free time I wrote a eclipse plugin to search in google. I
am blogging about it hoping someone else might find it useful.
Turnhout 1 is a eclipse plugin to search in google. Right click on any
word or selected text in the editor and click "Google It!". The search result is opened
in the default browser. This currently works in Java Editor and all editors extending
from Text Editor. I have tested this only on Windows with Eclipse 3.0. I hope it works
in Linux too. I might test it in Linux if there is interest for the plugin.
