Eclipse Communication Project -
This will be a peer to peer communication framework with implementations for File
Sharing, Application Sharing, Instant Messaging/Chat, Audio/Video Conferencing, Web
Co-Browsing, Collaborative Web Content Creation, Customizable User Presence/Awareness,
Workflow Automation, Collaborative Modeling/Shared Editing, Agile Development Team
Communication/Collaboration, Online Education/Training, Enterprise Content Management!!
I really really hope this does go the Koi way.
Voice Tools Project -
Initially, Voice Tools will consist of editors for VoiceXML, the XML Form of SRGS
(Speech Recognition Grammar Specification), and CCXML (Call Control eXtensible Markup
Language). Implementations of other tools that implement W3C voice standards,
such as the LexiconML (Pronunciation Markup Language), will be added as the standards
solidify and the Voice Tools Eclipse community grows.
eRCP - The embedded
rich client platform - This proposed by Nokia, Motorola and IBM. This
supposed to introduce eSWT, eJFace, Extension Point Framework, eWorkbench and eUpdate
to us. Sounds interesting.
