After fetchrss was accepted on java.net, bob put out version 1.0. A very self-confident version number, but hey, this app works and i havnt seen any real bugs yet. So, dont hesitate to check out this RSS email aggregator, its nice. You can get it at: http://fetchrss.dev.java.net.
Then i digged into java.net to see how they are prepared for this project stuff. The first i saw, was a pserver based CVS account. Hmmm, real security is something else ;-) but perhaps they will migrate to SSH soon, i know its JavaOne time and everybody from sun was shipped to San Francisco hehe. At the moment, java.net is a nice start, but SourceForge is better in each area i think. On the other side, i dont know if Sun really wants to compete against SF in terms of project hosting, perhaps someone knows more about their goals with it.
