Here is another example of Commercial Java developers not getting it at JavaLobby. I will state this one more time people. Because of the large code base of java contributed by opensource and SUN through the jcp process you can no longer separate opensource into an opposing java style/standards camp. Just as commercial developers complain about SUN's miss steps in Java and thus so to OpenSource develpers also have valid concerns about java standards.

Its time to stop pointing fingers to validate your invalid assumptions and work to get better SUN behavior and actions towards all jcp participants not jsut commerical developers. Its not a community of SUN centered java but a community coming together in jcp to stand for java standards and java innovation.

It should not matter to SUN if it comes from IBM or OpenSource or other participants, SUN should be non biased in this regard. If SUN revenue is hurt in immediate future by adopting this policy, then they have the wrong business model and need to make adjustments in that model rather than encourage FUD in the press that confuses customers.

SIDE Note to All MY SUN Employee Readers: I know its hard to read blogs for information and content when your employer might be wary of those views or scared of the path that they may encourage SUN to take. You have shown the courage to measure information for facts and knowledge against all information and views rather than assume. SUN needs more employees like yourself.
