So I am writing an email and want to type bureaucracy. Not sure of the correct spelling (not having had enough coffee yet), I type: bur[splat-space] and wait for the auto-completion.

Probably wouldn't be all that bad to implement, actually. May have to see if I can put together a hook that'll do this off of Apple's spell checker in any cocoa text widget.
