I'm surprised to see people only just now waking up to the possibilities for abuse that DNS opens up. For example, there are some pieces of software (I'll tell if you ask...) that broadcast system properties via an encoded DNS lookup to a specific remote host. (Personally, I don't think that someone's right to police their intellectual property supersedes my ownership of personal information.) Pretty sneaky, but also easy to defeat.Watching DNS is always a good idea.
