Well, I actually did it! I finished the first in a series of tutorials on Tapestry. To find out more go to the Brownbag developer series home page.
So, why am I doing this? Tapestry is a great framework, but unfortunately it is lacking in some good, solid, simple examples. This is not to say that the developers of Tapestry don't have some good examples out there, but we need something that is easy and simple enough for developers to get through without a whole lot of extraneous things like Hibernate or Spring getting in your way of learning Tapestry.
In closing I would just like to publicly thank Howard L. Ship (creator of Tapestry), Erik Hatcher (Tapestry developer and fellow author), and Danny Mandel (fellow developer and Tapestry user) for helping me make this a much better tutorial. So, in short - Thanks guys!
Expect the next tutorial in about two weeks (8 more to go!).
