My last entry made me think a bit. If I could work on any JSR,
what would I choose? There are lots of interesting things in the
work. The metadata JSR seems
quite interesting and the authentication service
provider interface is right down my alley. Of course new IO 2 is kind od sexy, and I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for a
Java compiler API.
But still, if I could choose one, what would it be?
I guess I think I'd pick JSR 202, Java class file
specification update. I'm a sucker for the low level stuff. And
while I've been waiting for that dream job writing Java compilers or
virtual machines, I've spent most of my time hacking bytecode and
class files. Am I a geek, or what?
