Another project required me to restart WAS 5.1 on my development machine again, which i installed some weeks ago. After some irritating erros on starting the service, i decided to re-install that beast again. This procedure took me about one hour, but now it seems to be in stable mode again. But there is one problem, after starting the server, you will have to see the following output:
"Server is ready for Ebusiness"
Of course i see a german translation of this, but who is responsible for this silly output? I mean, what kind of people will notice this claim, only the Admins and Developers of this world and those guys rarely get the kick by reading marketing claims.
I know its just a silly sidenote and its most likely not worth a blog entry, but this issue is in my mind a few months ago, since i first installed WAS 5. Perhaps they removed it in the upcomming WAS6 and other people might insist that this claim is the smallest problem i have when using Websphere ;-)
