I downloaded the newest Eclipse version (3.0, milestone 1), and it runs much faster on my G4 PowerBook than the previous version.

I'd maxed out the memory last week, but Eclipse was still pretty pokey. The new version has changed my perception of silverpant's speed, however: it seems fast enough now.
