Well we have reached the end of this years JavaOne. I can't quite believe I have been here for a week already. All in all the conference has been great, I have been to some good sessions, seen some cool technology, and most of all met some cool people. So much of this conference for me is a chance to meet like-minded people who are passionate about Java and technology in general, and this year I have been lucky enough to meet lots.
JavaOne also makes you realise how small the world really is, in this week I have met a guy who worked in Washington DC, in the same building, at the same time as me, and another guy who sits 10 metres away from me everyday, yet I have never met before.
Has been really good to meet some of the blogging community and finally get to put faces to names (although some faces are a little blurry due to the quanity of alcohol consumed - Matt: No more Irish Carbombs!)
I really hope that I can come back next year, so it is time to start thinking of good topics for sessions to guarantee my ticket!
