Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition, Connected Limited Device Configuration 1.1, Mobile Information Device Profile 2.0:
Last night I wrote and deployed my first Midlet. Unfortunetely, Sun's J2ME Wireless Toolokit it not available for the Mac and setting up IntelliJ took a while. However, after about two hours I had my very own midlet running on the Palm Tungsten C.
I'm still looking for that killer application I want to write for the WiFi Tungsten-C but speed and Memory certainly is not an issue. IBM's J9 VM running on the Tungsten is configurable to claim up to 32Mb Memory and 32kb for the Java Thread Stack. It supports CLDC-1.1 and MIDP-2.0
