<p>Java 7 Update 25 has been released and the JDK is available to download from <a href="http://clk.about.com/?zi=1/1hc&zu=http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html">Oracle's Java download page</a>.</p>
<p>This is a security fix release - see the Oracle Java SE <a href="http://clk.about.com/?zi=1/1hc&zu=http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/security/javacpujun2013-1899847.html">Critical Patch Update Advisory</a> for details. It outlines 40 new security fixes.</p>
<p>It's also worth looking at the <a href="http://clk.about.com/?zi=1/1hc&zu=http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/7u25-relnotes-1955741.html">release notes</a> as there are a number of enhancements introduced with this release including: Online Certificate Revocation Checking, New JAR Manifest File Attributes, New property for Secure Validation of XML and the Java API Documentation Updater Tool.</p>
