Over the last months, Groovy has gone from being something I used occasionally as a convenience to being my go to programming language. In this session I would like to show some of the things in the Groovy language and basic libraries that caused this transition. We’ll look at how simple applications of meta-programming made code cleaner, how Groovy SQL fills the middle ground between JDBC and ORM, and how GroovyWS makes consuming web services super simple!
