Henrik Stahl, Sr. Director of Product Management in the Java Platform Group at Oracle, has announced that the End Of Public Updates for Oracle's JDK 6 is no longer November 2012 but early 2013.

The extension means that the last release of a JDK 6 update will be in February 2013.
