I use JDOM for a long time and really like it a lot. However, this must been one of the longest beta periods ever. Jason just released JDOM Beta 10 RC-1. Yup - there are release candidates for beta releases.
It took taking on a permanent position with Cerisent (Jason was happy self employment the last two years) to make him commit "This release is expected to be the last Beta before 1.0."
Since Swixml uses JDOM this is good news. JDOM Beta 10 will be used in the upcoming Swixml 1.1
