There is another Linux distro out there, this one is coLinux.
What separates it from the others is its claim of being able to run "cooperatively alongside another operating system on a single machine".
Therefor, you don't need VMWare or Virtual PC to run Linux and Windows side-by-side, definitely worth a look.
Mono 0.30 is out and "net results are that C# compilation tim 400 es are now 30% to 40% faster than in 0.29 (30% for plain, 40% for precompiled)".
That is a big jump, that is for sure.
Also, I am going to be speaking on Mono at the next Orlando .NET Users Group meeting on Feb 18th.
Should be interesting to hear how the .NET developers feel about Mono and how many are using it at work or on their own.
