The Java Spotlight Podcast has an interview with Richard Blair, Java Client Architect, on the Early Access Release of JavaFX 2.0. The Early Access release is available to JavaFX partners. It's really worth a listen if you're interested in what's going on with JavaFX 2.0. Or, if you're not keen on listening you could just read the full transcript.

The beta version of JavaFX 2.0 (open to all) is expected in second quarter (Apr - June) of 2011.

There's also an interview on the Oracle Technology Network with Java Champion, Stephen Chin, about some of the JavaFX projects he's working on including Visage (a statically typed declarative language project looking to carry on from where JavaFX script ended).
