Yes, the video competition is back. For a chance to win yourself a free pass to JavaOne 2010 (or Oracle OpenWorld/Oracle Develop) all you have to do is make a one minute video that shows why this isn't just any old conference for you - this is the one you have to be at:

"Tell your peers what session, track, or event you can't miss out on. Explain how much Oracle OpenWorld, JavaOne, or Oracle Develop will help further your career and/or development skills."

This also might be a good time to be especially nice to your colleagues and get them to vote for your video because the top five finalists (for JavaOne, OpenWorld and Develop) are voted for by the community. Then a winner from each category will be chosen by a panel of Oracle judges.

For full details and judging criteria read the competition FAQ. Regardless of how well your video does all entrants are eligible for the $400 early bird discount. Entries must be submitted by the end of August 09, 2010.
