Fuad and I work about 11 hours a day on Hazelcast. Starting from tomorrow we will have 5 days code-camp. No distraction.. sleep or code. There are many little things we want to finish up but mainly we will work on:
1.8.4 release
Memcached protocol support so that any existing memcached client (PHP, Ruby, C# etc.) can access to Hazelcast cluster.
RESTful access to Hazelcast cluster.
Enhancements for the Monitoring Tool so that it can be more responsive and fluent.
Hazelcast Cloudy: New tool for running/managing your own Hazelcast Caching Servers on Amazon EC2.
We may not able to finish them all but the purpose is to speed up the development and shorten the delivery time. I will try to tweet (@oztalip) on the progress we are making.
