Jim Weaver has posted a look at a nifty JavaFX CalenderCube application on his JavaFX blog. The calender is a cuboid that can be manipulated (rotated, shrunk, or expanded) to show the desired view. There's a video at the bottom of the post that demonstrates the application in action.

The CalenderCube demo is a taster for the JavaFXpert RIA Exempler Challenge. It's a competition to build a "next-generation enterprise RIA (rich internet application)" using the JavaFX 1.3 SDK.
