Nokia buys MetaCarta for local search services
NEW YORK â Nokia Corp., the world's biggest mobile phone maker, said Friday it has bought MetaCarta Inc., whose technology helps users find "anything written about any place."
Financial terms were not disclosed. Privately held MetaCarta, based in Cambridge, Mass., employs about 30 people.
