There's only a couple of days left of the Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010. In addition to the Medal Wheel application I've been using the JavaFX Desktop Schedule and Results application. I tend to have it sitting open somewhere in the background to make sure I don't miss any of the events I'm interested in. Don't ask me why but I seem to have become hooked on curling.

The program is a good example of how a desktop application can integrate well with a website. By clicking on any of the events in the schedule I'm taken to the event information page on the excellent Winter Olympics 2010 website. There I can find out more about the event and follow the live action.
