On the Oracle Media Network there was a live webcast about JDK 7, Justin Kestelyn, Senior Director for the Oracle Technology Network talked to Mark Reinhold, Principal Engineer for Java SE and OpenJDK. There's a video, about 30 mins long, available on the Sun Developer Network website.

They cover the basics of what's coming in JDK7. It's interesting to hear Mark talk about various topics including the introduction of closures.
