I just came across Sean Mullan's blog, who has posted about the recently published version 3.0 of the Secure Coding Guidelines for the Java Programming Language.

As Sean says, these guidelines are useful for any Java programmer. They aim to make developers aware of the potential vulnerabilities that can exist and how to avoid them. They're definitely worth a look.
