I noticed yesterday that java.blogs now supports XML-RPC update pings in the same way that sites like weblogs.com do. Pebble has been able to ping weblogs.com for a while now and I committed some changes to the CVS head last night to allow it to ping any compatible site. This will be in Pebble 1.4 which I am aiming to get out in beta this week. By supporting the update pings, hopefully we can help reduce the load on the java.blogs servers and see a much more constant stream of updates. Good work guys.
