The 3rd party HomeScreen Applicaiosn wil break in next firmware release if they have relied upon private APIs and etc. Cupcake went though another major code drop and merge with main branch and Sdk release will probably in April.

if you are using one of the alternative HomeScreen apps you migth wsee it bream under the next firmware release. Hopefully other HomeScreen alternative developers have used techniques to avoid changes in System APis and private APIs.
