One of the reasons why I wanted a way to pop up a native dialogue is that javascript in webkit has cross site request limitations and thus I will be doing my OAuth stuff at the begin of application start up using native OAuth classes. Instead of looking up how to build Oauth you can read Don Park's blog post on how to get that library via download.
Thus, there will be tow levels of security in Xspot, the application password and OAuth security for the provider services used.
