What is the difference between Desktop vs Mobile application development?  That difference can be said to be simply what is the focus of the end user. Usually when you sit down to a desktop computer you are isolating yourself from other activities because you intent to devoe some time to that computer application.

The mobile user however is not isolating themselves form other activies to devote your appplication but your are integrating your application into their mobile actiities.  That is vastly different from a desktop application.
