There are some interesting and convincing arguments in this article by Nick Hodges made about the advantages Delphi shops have in moving their apps to .NET over those using VB and C++.
My company is a Delphi shop and seeing as we will eventually have our app using .NET underneath, either using Delphi 8 for .NET 400 and beyond or using C# for new development, it is a good thing to tell the bosses.
