There is some buzz going around about Jim Hugunin's benchmarks of IronPython (.NET compiler for Python).
Good to see a .NET implementation of Python is on its way.
Jython is great for Java and hopefully IronPython will be gr 400 eat for Mono/.NET and enable quicker prototyping of .NET apps.
Groovy, which is a ground up Java scripting language, is also coming along nicely as well.
