One of the hardest things as a WebView/UIkit hacker in making mobile web apps look and behave natively is that the choice of which UI library to use is somewhat complex. while using iUI gets you to the beginning iPhone look and feel such as page slides and etc as in my alpha demos of Xspot:

There is such more to be done such as Layout Management, Yahoo UI (YUI) seems to be making great strides in the mobile iphone space doing this. and of course there is drag out drawers and etc that both YUI and the CiUI/Mootools do exceptionally well. Given the amount of community documentation and participation it seems that at this time CiUI/Mootools is the better choice over both iUI and YUI. Generally, the greater amounts of community involvement in documentation, tutorials, code releases and etc means faster ramp-up time in switching to using such libraries and frameworks.

Will I do a demo3 of PhoneGap using CiUI/MooToools for people to download and study?  Yes, at some point  you wil find a PhoneGap demo at github using the CiUI libraries. This is not to say that iUI did not accompish a lot or YUI for that matter as I stil l like iUI and YUI. It just seems in my view that both CiUI and Mootools made a  more effective application of community resoruces to give to the average developer what they want as far as ajax, UI and etc in web and UI development.
